Vacancy Apprentice Theatre Technician

Theatre Peckham is a small community based theatre company working with young people in the Peckham and Camberwell area. We offer classes and workshops for 3- 18 year olds in all aspects of the performing arts. We also do 2 theatre productions per year.

Over the past 25 years, Theatre Peckham has developed a unique model of performing arts education and training for South London’s culturally diverse communities.   Around 500 young people, aged from toddlers to 16+ are members of Theatre Peckham’s weekly workshop programme; a further 1,500 or so participate each year in a range of projects that are run in collaboration with a variety of partners including schools and community groups and most of the 9,000 plus audience members that attend Theatre Peckham’ productions are also young people.

The Company’s base in the heart of Peckham is the 160 seat Theatre.   For thousands of young people from one of the most deprived areas of London, this venue is a much loved and highly accessible introduction to professional theatre.
