Creative and Cultural Apprenticeships

These frameworks all include learning about the creative and cultural sector, jobs within the sector, marketing, health safety and safeguarding

  • Technical Theatre level 2 and 3: learn stage management, how to plan and operate audio visual equipment, lighting rigs, work at height

  • Community Arts Administration level 2 and 3; learn about developing ideas for projects, fundraising, project delivery and evaluation

  • Live Events & Promotion level 2 and 3; learn how to organise live events through planning, budgeting, working effectively with suppliers and performers, and promotion strategies to put on successful events

  • Music Business level 2 and 3: learn what makes the music business work, how to develop an artist, and how to organise and deliver events

CAS’s Creative and Cultural courses are accredited by EDI and are designed by Creative and Cultural Skills, the Sector Skills Council for the Creative and Cultural Industries.

Creative and Digital Media Apprenticeships

These frameworks include learning about the creative and digital media sector, IT, marketing, design and creative thinking

  • ITQ level 2: learn to use software and hardware, how to make IT work for your organisation, how to plan and deliver IT projects, learn about design and production

  • Creative and Digital Media level 3: learn how to produce high quality commercial media, how to use professional software and hardware within a range of subjects such as photography, video, audio, social media.
